This most basic freedom has now come under assault—labor bosses and big union lobbyists are trying to end secret ballots. “Card check” legislation in DC will strip workers of secret ballots and their privacy.

This scare tactic uses fear and intimidation to shape how workers vote. Thankfully Senator Bryce Reeves has taken up the cause of Virginia workers. Sen. Reeves said, “This is not a Republican, an Independent or Democratic issue; this is a Virginia issue” when asked why he took up this legislation.
